Dopo aver visto il video di questo viaggiatore mi e' tornato in mente Into the wild. Anche perche' Alex Bellini in Alaska c'e' stato, due volte.
L'avventura in questione non e' un viaggio in America o vivere per due anni in un bus disperso in Alaska, l'avventura e' attraversare l'oceano pacifico, dal Peru' all'Australia a remi, da solo. Alex Bellini ricomincia cosi' un'altra avventura in mare. La precedente due anni fa l'aveva portato a Fortaleza (Brasile) partendo da Genova, sempre a remi.
La traversata del Pacifico e' iniziata a fine febbraio e la durata prevista e' di 10 mesi. 10 mesi per arrivare a Sydney, da solo, a bordo di una piccola barca, in mezzo all'oceano, in mezzo al nulla, vivendo di cibi liofilizzati e di pesca, passando le giornata a remare, a contatto con la natura estrema, alla ricerca di qualcosa che lo fa sentire vivo, seguendo il suo percorso personale, per 10 lunghi mesi.
Un po' come la Venezia-Pechino in bicicletta, in questi viaggi incarno il mio scarso ma presente spirito d'avventura. Grazie a queste persone noi pantofolai possiamo continuare a sognare e magari un giorno prendere sufficiente coraggio e motivazione per sentirsi liberi e felici come lui.

What is the Core?
Core is being in the heart of what happens, being in the center, doing the story, staying where all is fast and cool.
Core is work for Ibm, go to Sardinia (ohh, that is the heaven!), work for very important customer like Tiscali in their datacenter, because they have bought the most expensive appliance that my company sells, and when you are in the customer site have some guys from Cisco that work near you.
Core is enjoy the sun, the sea, the sand, the sault, the wind and my country. Enjoy the summer that is still there and the gorgeous nature. Enjoy the art of the bulding of Tiscali, the grass, the pool, the olive trees and the palms.
Core is enjoy a different culture of your colleague and meet very nice people.
Core is flying in that fantastic blu sky, over the clouds, over all.
All together, this is the Core!.
